Frequently asked questions

How long does a renovation take? It depends on the scope. A bathroom is a different project from an apartment that is stripped and rebuilt. The schedule is agreed before the first crew arrives, together with the milestones.

What does it cost? Cost is driven by square metres, the condition of the property and the materials chosen. We do not quote over the phone: we see the space and give an itemised offer per task, so you know what you are paying for and why.

Do I need a permit? Internal works usually do not. Anything touching the facade, the structure, networks outside the property or a change of use does. We check this before anything starts.

Can I stay in the property during the works? For a partial renovation, usually yes. For a full one, no, and it is better that way because the project finishes faster.

Is it worth renovating before selling?

Often yes, but not everywhere and not everything. Targeted works such as kitchen, bathroom, window frames and paint tend to return more than they cost, because they change the first impression and shorten the time the property stays on the market. A full luxury renovation in an area that does not support it does not.
